it was late and i was maybe 13
my body felt weak or depleted
without money or plans for the future
you were facing away from me
cos your face was covered in silver
chrome and so was mine
our faces were like mirrors
to the people who walked by
with thai food takeaway breaths
i wanted it to be awesome

we were in a playground
and no one recognized us
you spilled sprite on my shoes
